Job Description:
American Software Resources is looking for 2 Senior Quality Assurance Analysts who will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive tests that include functional, system, regression, and UAT tests in a client server/web environment. The Sr. QA Analyst will assist management in ensuring that QA practices and procedures are adhered to within the company, and will also mentor junior level quality assurance analysts in understanding set QA procedures. This position requires a bachelor's degree, or higher, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Familiarity with a variety of Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and procedures is required. Experience in SDLC methodologies, automated testing tools, and QA processes are highly desired.
Experience Level:
· Responsible for testing activities for multi-tier e-commerce and client-server applications. This includes creation of test plans based on business requirements, writing test cases, working with programmers to identify and resolve defects and providing test result documents to the management.
· Experience with use of a bug tracking tool to log, maintain and report on defects.
· Experience with some testing tools such as Rational, Mercury, Segue, QTP, WinRunner, LoadRunner, Test Director, QA Director.
· Good understanding of Software development and QA methodologies, including QA tools for Automation, Code Coverage, System Test, Load testing etc
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential with the ability to interpret complicated data.
· Ability to handle multiple projects at once is a must.
· Work closely with Management, Business Analysts and Development Teams to proactively define testing strategies for the creation and maintenance of QA tests.
